Jack Shaw Silver

Superb Victorian silver gilt and glass claret jug with original star cut glass.

The Claret Jug is decorated with an engraved crest of a stag to the lid and a sailing ship to the body with the addition of an interesting inscription reading "Hermonie Feb 25. 1868" engraved below the ship.

It stands on an attractive circular beaded pedestal foot and is in excellent condition.

In Excellent condition with clear hallmarks to the body and the underside of the lid.
